Naturekin Terms of Service
Last Updated: November 2025
Welcome to Naturekin (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, virtual sessions, in-person walks, workshops, and any related content or materials (collectively, the “Services”). By participating in or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose
Naturekin provides educational and experiential programs that help participants connect with nature in accessible and evidence-based ways. Our content and sessions are for general wellness and personal reflection, not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to register for Naturekin programs. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
3. Safety and Personal Responsibility
Naturekin encourages exploration and mindfulness in nature while maintaining safety. Participants agree to:
Follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the facilitator.
Avoid consuming, touching, or handling unknown natural items.
Take responsibility for their physical safety, including awareness of environmental conditions and allergies.
For virtual sessions, ensure a safe and comfortable environment before participating.
Naturekin is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during participation.
4. Health Disclaimer
Our programs are not substitutes for professional medical or psychological advice. If you have concerns about your health or mental well-being, please consult a qualified healthcare provider before participating.
5. Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through registration, feedback forms, or communication is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Participant sharing during sessions is voluntary, and we ask all participants to maintain confidentiality and respect for others’ contributions.
6. Payments and Donations
Some Naturekin services are free or donation-based, while others may require payment. Payment details, when applicable, will be clearly communicated during registration.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. A minimum of 12 hours notice is required to cancel your registration and get your registration fee refunded. Refunds or credits may be provided at Naturekin’s discretion depending on program type and notice period.
8. Intellectual Property
All Naturekin materials (including program guides, exercises, images, and digital resources) are the property of Naturekin or used with permission. You may not reproduce, share, or distribute materials without written consent.
9. Community Conduct
Participants agree to create a respectful and inclusive environment by:
Refraining from discriminatory, disruptive, or unsafe behavior.
Respecting the land, the facilitator, and fellow participants.
We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates these standards without refund.
10. Liability Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naturekin, its facilitators, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our programs or use of our materials.
11. Donation in Exchange for Event Access
Naturekin offers an option to access certain workshops or events by making a donation to a registered charitable organization. If you choose this option, you are responsible for ensuring that you are donating to a properly registered charity. Before donating, check whether the charity issues official income tax receipts and confirm the minimum donation amount required.
To receive an event ticket through this initiative, you must provide Naturekin with an official donation receipt. We will not accept screenshots, summaries, or self-reported information on its own. When submitting your receipt, please black out any personal information that is not needed. The only information that must remain visible is:
• Your first and last name
• The name of the charity
• The donation amount
• The receipt number or official confirmation normally included by the charity
Any information you provide is used only to confirm that a valid donation was made and that you are eligible for entry to the workshop or event. Naturekin will record the donation amount and the name of the charity for internal reporting so we can understand the impact of this initiative. We will not keep your name or the copy of your receipt for longer than 30 days. After 30 days, this information will be deleted.
For more details on how we handle, store, or delete personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
Naturekin may update these Terms occasionally. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
