Bringing the outdoors in

Naturekin provides virtual workshops and coaching to help people connect with the nature that is already around them. The approach is practical, science-backed, and built for real life. By using simple tools, it's possible to reduce stress and build resilience without ever needing to leave your home or office.

Our mission

Naturekin exists to help you feel good through nature connection. We believe that taking the time to connect with yourself and the nature around you naturally leads to a deeper care for our environment and our planet. As technology shapes our daily routines, our relationship with nature has to evolve too. We're here to bridge that gap with practical ways to help you recharge and find your focus.

A community-first approach

We operate as a purpose-driven social enterprise. This means we prioritize accessibility over profit and reinvest revenue directly into our programs to cover costs. Your participation helps support continued access for others, allowing us to stay community-focused and inclusive.

Social Impact Initiatives

We believe that nature connection is a right, not a luxury. To keep our programs accessible and meaningful, we've built a model centered on giving back:

  • Donation for Ticket: You can join almost any public workshop by making a donation to a registered charity of your choice. This allows you to support a cause you're passionate about while taking a moment for your own well-being.

  • Community Spots: We always save space in our workshops for those navigating financial barriers. We offer free introductory sessions and provide community spots for our paid workshops to ensure that cost is never the reason someone is cut off from the benefits of nature.

I started Naturekin because I know what it feels like to be cut off from the outdoors. When health issues made getting outside difficult, I realized I didn't need a massive forest to feel grounded; I just needed a new way of looking at the room I was in.

With a background in technology and adult education, I created Naturekin to bridge the gap between science and wellness. I teach practical tools to help you find your own connection to the natural world, wherever you happen to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime.

  • No, we're a mission-driven social enterprise. This means we generate our own revenue through workshops and coaching rather than relying on grants or outside donations. We then reinvest those earnings directly back into our programs to keep them accessible, inclusive, and community-focused.

  • No, Naturekin is not a registered charity, so we don't accept direct donations. You can support our mission by participating in our workshops or booking a coaching session. If you're looking to give back to the community, we encourage you to donate to a registered charity of your choice through our Donation for Ticket program. This helps a great cause and allows you to join a workshop in return.

  • A social enterprise is a business that exists to solve a social or environmental problem. For us, it means putting people and the planet before profit. Every dollar earned helps us keep our programs running, offer community spots for those in need, and support the environmental causes we care about.

  • We believe nature connection should be a daily habit, not just a weekend destination. By keeping our sessions virtual, we make nature accessible to people who may be stuck at a desk, dealing with health issues, or living in urban areas. It is about proving that you can find a sense of calm and focus exactly where you are.

  • Naturekin is for anyone who feels the "digital drain" and needs a practical way to recharge. Whether you're a busy parent, a corporate leader, or someone navigating a chronic illness, our tools are designed to be inclusive and easy to use. You don't need to be an outdoorsy person or have a backyard to benefit from what we do.
