Donation for Ticket
You can join almost any Naturekin workshop by donating to a charity you care about. It’s a simple way to support your community while taking a moment for yourself.
How it works
Donate to any registered charity. We recommend a minimum donation of $20, which is the same as our standard ticket price. Most organizations require at least $20 to issue an official income tax receipt.
Submit your official receipt. Use the form below to upload your donation receipt. Please make sure your name, the charity name, and the date are visible.
Check your email. Once we've verified your receipt, we'll send you a promo code to use for your session on Eventbrite.
Charities you might consider
You're welcome to choose any registered charity that's meaningful to you. Whether it's a local food bank, an animal rescue, or a global health initiative, your donation counts. If you're looking for a place to start, here are a few organizations that are close to our hearts:
Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice: We support this hospice in honour of Britt’s daughter, Alexandra. They provide incredible care and support for families in the Ottawa area.
Earth Path: This organization offers nature-based education programs right here in Ottawa, helping people of all ages connect with the land.

Before you upload
To protect your privacy, please ensure your donation receipt clearly shows the required info but hides your home address or credit card details.
What we need to see:
Your first and last name
The charity name and date
The donation amount and tax receipt number
What you can hide:
Your home address or phone number
Any private payment or donor ID numbers

You'll get your tax receipt directly from the charity you choose. Most organizations email a PDF receipt as soon as you finish your donation on their website, or in December of the current tax year. Since your donation goes directly to the charity and not to Naturekin, we are not able to issue tax receipts ourselves.

You're welcome to use a receipt from any donation you've made this calendar year, as long as it hasn't been used for a previous Naturekin workshop. Once we send you a promo code, it doesn't expire right away. You can hold onto it for a future session that fits better with your schedule.

We love that. If you're joining as a group, you can make one larger donation. Just make sure the total covers at least $20 per person. When you upload the receipt, let us know in the form that you're looking for multiple codes and we'll take care of it.
Privacy and Safety

Your privacy is our priority. We keep all personal details strictly confidential and never share them with anyone else. We only use the donation amount to track the total impact our community is making together. We might share a collective total, like our community has given back $500, but we'll never share individual names or amounts. To keep your footprint small, we securely delete your receipt 7 days after your promo code is used.

We only need to see your name, the charity name, the date, and the donation amount. We actually encourage you to black out or hide your home address, phone number, and any credit card or banking details before you upload the file. As long as we can verify the core donation details, your privacy is protected.
